Xformer

Very similar to the Megaformer, the Xformer is an ideal tool for strength training with an emphasis on the core. The Xformer offers more customized features and the highest quality materials built to last.

Made up of two platforms, a moving carriage, springs, and handlebars, the purpose of the machine is to deliver an intense workout with minimal impact on your bones and joints. As you squat, row, and lunge, the Xformer amplifies your movements as much or as little as you want. To change your intensity, you’ll change the springs and your range of motion. But don’t let the machine scare you - we’ll walk you through each step and you’ll get the hang of it in no time!

Lagree Megaformer

The Megaformer was created by Sebastien Lagree. As a certified Pilates instructor, he used bodybuilding techniques on the reformer to train clients. Sebastien created a series of machines that differed from the traditional reformer to support more of a strength training method. The Megaformer is a full body strength and endurance machine that has an additional platform on the back of the frame to offer more options to pull agains spring resistance. The Lagree method heavily focuses on “time under tension”, slow speeds, and controlled movements to create results.

Pilates Reformer

The most famous piece of Pilates equipment and the building block for machines to come- invented by Pilates founder Joseph Pilates. It’s a bed-like frame with a flat carriage that moves back and forth within the frame. Springs at the front attach to the carriage and offer customized resistance or support. The reformer utilizes features like a foot bar and long straps to provide a variety of movements to promote overall core strength and stability. The reformer is an excellent tool for movement training, rehabilitation, and postural alignment.
